      Corrected flash device compatibility problem introduced in version 2.63 when used with certain older flash devices.

Changes made from version 2.22 to 2.24:
      Fixed bug when loading maps while GPS is turned off.
      Fixed memory bug that causes unit to lock up.
      Allow special characters to be entered when Spell 'N Finding cities and points of interest.
      Increased the number of zoom levels to include 80, 50, 30, and 20 ft.

In the interest of better serving Magellan users we have added a Magellan update page. This is a new item, please feel free to offer advice.
Garmin has posted MapSource 4.00.
Changes made from version 3.06 to 4.00:
      Added support for new City Navigator product.
      Reduced map clutter by making POIs invisible until the map draws to the 500-ft scale.
      Reduced map clutter by decreasing the font size for manmade areas, golf courses, and large airports.
      Added code to display "GPS Map Detail" under the scale when detailed maps are being drawn.
      Added default directory preference for opening and saving files to a user-defined directory.
      Added ability to rearrange column order on left-pane windows by dragging and dropping the columns.
      Column order and width are now remembered each time MapSource is launched.
      Move waypoint icon into its own column to allow sorting by icon.
      Improved accuracy of estimated size at bottom of maps tab.
      Removed trailing ".0" from metric zoom scales greater than 1000m.
      Allow spaces to be typed in by user while entering a new unlock code (these spaces are ignored by MapSource).

      Increased pixel width of the user waypoint id field.
      Changed 'Text' and 'Zoom' to 'Text Size' and 'Max Zoom' on the Map Setup Page.

Garmin has posted GPSMAP 162/168 software version 2.61.
Version 2.00 is the initial release version and is intended for use on the GPSMAP 162 ONLY. Version 2.10 is the first release for the GPSMAP 168. Versions 2.12 and later will change all map configurations back to factory defaults when upgrading from software versions earlier than 2.12.
Changes made from version 2.60 to 2.61:
      Corrected ae character in title font.
      Improved Perspective Highway performance.
      When a waypoint is moved using the map on the waypoint review page, the waypoint no longer disappears at high zoom levels.
      Corrected ETE displays for extremely long ETE times.
      Corrected display of negative UTC time offsets that are less than one hour.
      Corrected some hilight movement / list scrolling issues on the exit services page.
      Corrected hilight position 'remembering' when Configure Map/Configure Sonar menu items are selected.
      Show the route name on the map route edit page.

      Correct reporting of maximum speed and improve track log recording when in shaded or weak signal environments.
      Corrected track point position computations for extreme latitudes (+/- 90 degrees).
      Changed large text map settings to use a larger font.
